Old Railroad Stop Hiawatha

I eat here regularly, so I know I'm a bit biased, however, the food is good and the atmosphere is special. This restaurant is located on the reservation at Hiawatha First Nation and services the local community for miles around. I love the views of the lake. Servers are personable and helpful and the food is really good. I think the hot roast beef sandwich plate is still my favourite but the fish and chips, especially the halibut are also surprisingly good. It's a nice place to have a quiet lunch or dinner for sure.

Lovely breakfast overlooking beautiful Rice Lake. Great super quick service and awesome coffee!! Don't know how they do it for the money, but I will be back for sure. Oh and get the fried onions on the home fries. :)

Food is pretty good . View of rice lake very nice. Their butter tarts cheaper than most and very good . Prices reasonable and gas pumps there at much cheaper price . Never disappointed. Breakfast is always good . Great pancakes

Breakfast was delicious and my eggs were perfect and coffee was fresh!!!We had to wait because it was so busy, but it was worth the wait............price and quality were right on...........

Absolutely lovely freshly prepared food at a beautiful lakeside location. A wide range of hot and cold dishes are offered along with hot and cold beverages. There is also a small supermarket, gas station and Indian craft shop on the same site. A really worthwhile visit.
