If it were possible to give it a negative star rating I would. One of the worst Chinese buffets we have ever been at. Food was not fresh and tasted awful. Maybe by the constant steering of the food by the staff who had nothing else to do the food gets cold. Shrimp way undercooked. Very limited choices. Dirty dishes, crooked cutlery. Left with an upset stomach and wishing we would have gone anywhere else but here. What a wast of money. Bottom line, don’t bother.
So we are new to the area and ordered takeout from South China.. The Pork chow mien and Beef fried rice were amazing and tasted very fresh and homemade.well done! Sadly the honey garlic ribs were like none other we have ever had they were so fatty it was hard to find any meat and tasteless and colorless totally gross. Now for the chicken balls, very crispy on the outside but raw and very doughy on the inside and I am not sure if there was any chicken in them cause...ya couldn't find any at least not through all the raw dough! Will never ever ever waste my money ordering from here again. Very disappointed
There was less variety in dishes, there were fewer vegetable dishes....only one really this time, and we found the experience disappointing.
I had never been to this restaurant. It is definitely a one and done! Where to begin....everything is questionable. The table was not clean. A plate on top of the pile of clean plates at the buffet had a piece of a lo mein noodle on it. There were actually dirty/used plates sitting on the buffet itself! Someone had set them there, but they were right near where the hostess.... And boy do I use the term hostess loosely..... There were no smiles here, with the exception of one girl. I want to be fair. Mind you, most of the smiling happened at the presenting of the bill. The food.....it's a disaster. Everything was barely lukewarm. Everything. The foods were mostly quite bland. The chicken balls were crazy....never have seen such strange looking and tasting balls. I'm not trying to be jocular there. The balls were outrageous. I took one bite....one bite too many. To be fair, the green beans were actually pretty good. They weren't hot, but they were edible. But I'm afraid that's the only pass the food gets. Several buffet bins were nearly empty and never refilled. A man came out of the kitchen twice and went along the line and stirred every single bin. Not sure what the point of that was. I smiled at him....trying to just be courteous.....if looks could kill! He was truly scowling. Like if it makes him angry to stir the food, he should just not do it because there is no point to it anyway. I don't get it. You are running a restaurant. Isn't the basic premise....serve hot and yummy foods and be pleasant with patrons so they will come back and spread the good word about your establishment?? So two thumbs way down.....stay away. I'm sorry to give such a poor review, but this place is Sketchville, for many reasons. Avoid it. If you want a cheap buffet, go across the road to Pizza Hut. No balls, but hot pizza and friendly servers.
