Dj’s Java Joint - Petersburg

I had a fluffy cheese and crustacean omelet, along with some pet food, a grilled biscuit, and beignets. I paired it all with a strong coffee to wash everything down. The staff seemed very eager to make sure we were well taken care of. I didn't order it myself, but I noticed other diners receiving something called confession cake. It's a generous portion and quite popular, so be sure to call ahead and reserve one for your table or for takeout.

In Petersburg, Virginia, this is a place worthy of your time. The food is good, the atmosphere is welcoming... Seats in the indoor and outdoor areas and a great service. Our waiter, Brondesh, was extraordinary. The Cajun Pasta with black chicken strips was great.

Really enjoyed the music and the whole experience. The hurricane drink was delicious. The sea fish Etouffe Omelet was very good. We really enjoyed the Alligator bites.

We had the peach mimosa. 10/10... the alligator bites were also good, I would recommend. The cancer tower was a bit bland. was not really impressed. The chewing gum did not look too attractive... there will be another attempt because the mimose had us feeling, but next time we try the breakfast or dinner menu.

I truly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. I was seated right by the music, and the food was fantastic! Just an update: I went during brunch, so I can't speak to the other menu items, but I still highly recommend it.
