Nanny's - Petersburg

Heard about Nanny’s quite a bit but have never been here before. Heard the homestyle southern comfort food on the buffet is amazing. Rumor was that the cheeseburger was the best. And that wasn’t a lie. This is how a cheeseburger should be done. ?? It was so good. Fresh onions, lettuce, crisp pickles. I opted for no tomato. Soft Fresh bun. Melted cheese. Meat was cooked perfectly. ? However the fries were not my style. They were soggy. I like my fries crispy. Maybe next time I’ll get onion rings instead. Will for sure come back when I have worked up an appetite to try the buffet offerings. It all looked so appetizing. Was completely packed on a Friday at lunch hour. Steady patrons coming and going. I see why this restaurant is popular. Too bad the hours are limited.

Food is always great, hard to believe it's a buffet with the type of quality and taste you get there.
