The store itself is well-maintained and stocked with local, organic groceries, but the real highlight is the delicious food offered at the hot bar and salad bar. I would gladly eat here every day, as the flavors were incredible. I even cleaned my plate! For those who think being vegan means sacrificing taste, they clearly have not experienced the diverse and flavorful dishes made with love at The Grain Train. This cozy restaurant offers a variety of local products, popular vegan brands, and some homemade vegan dishes. Customers appreciate the bulk section and the freshly made peanut butter. They also serve cold vegan salads, packed grape leaves, and a variety of hummus options. In addition to food, they offer vegan shampoo, soaps, and a selection of vitamins and supplements.
This charming little market offers a variety of delicious vegan options. I was delighted to discover a place with such great vegan food, as there aren't many options in this area. The next day, I purchased a prepackaged sesame noodle salad and a muffin for breakfast. The food was incredibly tasty and they had a wide selection of vegan dishes to choose from. If I find myself in this area again, I won't waste my time looking for other options - I'll just come back here.
I always stop when I go to the north, as I know that I find eating. Food business 's serving vegan packaged foods and organic products are a lifesetter in a world full of non-vegan food. the hot bar is not so accentuating. I was last week. nothing vegan in the hot selection, salatable can be found anywhere else. packed cold sandwiches are always made from vegan. I asked the guy behind the counter if they had more vegan cold sandwiches in the back. I was told no and that they always seem to run quite fast from vegan selections. but he had no idea why they didn't do or sort more.
When on a family vacation for an extended period of time, and being the only vegan in the bunch, it's great to have a store like this for vegan staples to add to the mix of family dinners. The prices were more than I am used to paying back home, however it was expected, being in a smaller resort town. Nice selection of wines and beers that were on special, the produce was tasty, parking was convenient. There were some interesting Michigan made products that I had never seen before.
