Great staff!! I love the Purple Toad as a great neighborhood spot!! We are there weekly and the staff is ALWAYS friendly and wonderful and they all go above and beyond!! Rude Staff and Incredibly Slow. The restaurant staff and bar tender are rude, the waiter staff is always understaffed by at least 3 people. Half the time the kitchen has only one cook and offers a limited menu. It normally takes 15 minutes to be recognized and 25 mins for a drink. The staff chooses who they want to serve when they want to serve, not by the order of when they sat you, that is, if they don't leave you waiting at the door to be seated for 10 mins without even acknowledging you. I have seen the bartender bring her kids to work and her kids were spitting spitballs at customer. Very unprofessional!

My wife and I have noticed that every time we order a mixed drink from the menu, it doesn't resemble the description at all. The food is average and expensive. Honestly, this place is only worth it if you're already intoxicated and just looking to do some shots. I wouldn't rely on them to make any mixed drinks besides pouring a beer.
