Cafe Brasserie du Midi - Pézenas

An unpretentious restaurant which offers good value for money. Recommended by the owners of the house we rented. Good galettes, steak hachés excellent (as were the frites). Enormous salads. Moules frites as a special. Pichets of decent rosé. Service was friendly and quick. Takes cards....Apparently the best roast duck in town.

What a Jewel! I had several meal times here, clad you jour, bistro burger, pizza, lamb, even the sweet. all fresh and creative, very varied menu! personal very friendly and attentive. great discovery!

Went here after market trip with family as it looked popular. What a sheer disappointment! I ordered mussels and 30 mins later felt sick! They didn’t taste fresh, and were chewy, with beards still on. About 12 of them didn’t even open. Pizzas looked good,...food came in dribs and drabs, my husband’s burger didn’t come at all despite asking 3 times! He cancelled his order after an hour of waiting! I could nit pick a few other things, but basically, not a satisfied customer for a 1pm lunch. Will not be going here again. No saving grace, but did point out they were not charging for the undelivered burger!! Haha!

Having eaten here before and found the food to be ok we decided to give it another try this year. Our party of three had ribs, moules et frites, and fish and chips. All were very good and were washed down with a bottle of...recommended rosé wine. But what really made it a cut above was the waitress, Alex. She was cheerful, helpful and spoke very good English. All in all a very pleasant experience. She’s worth her weight in gold to the restaurant!!!

Nous avons été piégé par un nombre important de personnes en terrasse!Pizzas, galettes ...sont à des prix qui semblent cohérents..... sauf que la garniture des pizzas et galettes ....est très insuffisante!!! Et pour agrémenter notre repas en terrasse sur le côté du restaurant, plusieurs fois durant le repas des odeurs d'égouts nous sont parvenus!
