Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

The food was incredibly delicious, and the service exceeded all expectations! The Grilled Shrimp Pasta is a must-try!

We arrived about 30 minutes early, only to be informed that there was no record of our reservation. I showed one of the hosts proof of my phone call, but I had to insist further when they told us it would be a 1.5-hour wait. As customers who had called ahead, I felt it was unfair that my family had to wait that long due to the shortcomings of the staff. We couldn't have just walked in as suggested because we're not local to the area. The host offered to correct the situation, but I believe this issue should have been handled properly in the first place. Additionally, it was very hot inside the restaurant, and the large leaf fans had an unstable arm directly over the seating area as of August 17, 2024. It appeared to be secured with tape or something similar, which is not safe and could lead to a serious accident if it falls. I was also disappointed that this location did not have the aquarium I've seen in other Cheddar's locations. On a positive note, the food was quite good, although the cooks were a bit heavy-handed with the black pepper on my ribeye, leaving a lingering heat in my mouth. Our server was fantastic and worked hard to attend to us—kudos to him! Unfortunately, I can’t recall his name. Overall, I'm uncertain if I would return to this location.

I recently had a lunch date that was unfortunately spoiled by cold food, poor service, and a sticky bar. Upon entering, there was no one at the host stand, so I decided to sit at the bar. The bartender greeted my presence with a clear look of disappointment. When my date arrived, it took the bartender five minutes to take her drink order, and another ten minutes to take our lunch orders. After a twenty-minute wait, our food was served cold. The bartender lacked energy and positivity, which really brought down the atmosphere. I couldn't help but feel that my date was judging my choice of restaurant. Overall, it was a dreadful experience. Later, when I warmed up my chicken, it was chewy as if it were undercooked, and I felt unwell the entire night. The service was subpar and I was disappointed with the quality of the food. I’ve been to their south location, which is much better. Unfortunately, I've visited this location several times and have never been impressed.

Food and atmosphere is always good here! I most definitely recommend this place. Great for family gatherings and affordable prices as well!
