After reading about their vegan options, I decided to try this place. I opted for the pupusas and was pleased to find they offered three vegan options: zucchini, chard with herbs, and beans. The first two were excellent. The pupusas come served with salsas and pickled cabbage. The restaurant has a very modern look and a strong branding concept. Vegetarians will also be happy to know that there are even more options available on the pupusas menu, as well as dishes like enchiladas.
This restaurant is a new addition to the RGV, but has been operating in Reynosa for 22 years. The decor is stunning and the establishment is impeccably clean. With an open kitchen, customers can watch as their food is prepared. The menu offers a variety of vegetarian options including veggie pupusas such as rajas poblanas, collard greens/spinach/cheese, beans/cheese, and cheese only. There are also three vegan options available: zucchini, beans/dry chiles, and Collard Greens/Spinach. Other vegetarian dishes include veggie tostadas, Taco lloraras veggie, Quesadillas, and Enchiladas San Miguel. (Review updated as of November 14, 2017)
Spacious and comfortable place. Staff is aware of what is vegan food, vegetarian and vegan options are marked in their menu too. Inexpensive eats and quick service.
Not authentic pupusa, but will do if it asks for one. drinks expensive and small.
