Food is not what expected, meat was really hard to eat, and the personal attention is kind of poor..

For 122 MXD, I got two fried eggs, a splash of beans, three small tortillas and (very good) coffee. The nearby 169 MXD buffet at La Nueva Parroquia would have filled me up much better.

I travel to San Luis Potosi for business several times per year. I have a list of favorite places for dinner, etc. During my most recent trip (November 2019) I wanted to try someplace different. A colleague suggest Rincon Huasteco as I was was looking for some authentic Potosina cuisine. Place: Good and convenient location easy to get to with taxi Uber. The restaurant itself has recently been remodeled and is very nice inside. Thumbs up here! Service: Our waiter was attentive and very responsive. Once orders were placed, they arrived within a very short period. Also, thumbs up here. Food: Good menu selection. I, along with one colleague, chose a combination plate that feature local cuisine enchilada, bocelo and cecina. All was pretty good except the cecina which was like shoe leather we were told that cecina potosina is made from horse. The flavor was not bad in fact, it was tasty just could not chew it. Thumb sideways...not up...not down VALUE: All in all, dinner for 4 people was very reasonable. Thumbs up! I will back in San Luis in about 6 8 weeks. I will try Rincon Hiuasteco again as I think the place could be a hidden gem.

Excelente servicio muy sabroso todo, las enchiladas huastecas, los tacos, quesadillas, frijoles charros y no se diga la salsa hechas en molcajete.
