Captain D's - Phenix City

I was curious about the long line, so I decided to go inside, thinking it would be quicker. The customer service was pleasant, and I waited about 20-25 minutes for my meal. However, as soon as I got back to my car, I realized there was no way that meal was making it home with me! It had been a long time since I had enjoyed the original, crispy, crunchy fish and shrimp from Captain D's!

I absolutely love the fried oysters! After my first try, I can't wait to have them again. I usually order the cheese sticks as well, which are always served hot and delicious. It's your typical drive-thru experience, but my orders are consistently hot and tasty!

The food was, as always, incredibly fresh and delicious! The staff is friendly, though they seem a bit overwhelmed at this extremely popular location in Phenix City. Be careful when entering and exiting both the lively restaurant and the parking lot, as it is situated on a busy stretch of Highway 280, and it's the only site of its kind in the city (perhaps consider opening an additional location in North Phenix City). Look for coupons in the first month to score some fantastic deals!

Everything was great except the sauces I asked. I asked about 3 different sauces and got a bunch of 2 sauces I didn't order.

I got there after hours only the drive thru was open. Am a trucker; thus my rig couldn't fit. The lady cleaning was gracious enough to let me in take my order even though they were closed. Thank you for taking the time to feed a hungry trucker, you are a credit to your business I hope you do great. All the best!
