Pros: local, flavorful food, reasonable prices, great serviceCons: plan to take out the eat in area is small,We ordered a Trainwreck (pictured) which I only was able to eat about 1/3 of. It is HUGE!! We also ordered the rib plate. The ribs were well seasoned but only 2 of the ribs were tender. The rest were a little tough and chewy. We plan to go back to try more items and maybe even give the ribs another go.

Bought a BBQ sandwich it was old and hard to chew.. I'm surprised this place is still open..I visited thortons a couple of years ago the food was terrible..2023 I thought it would be

Omgggggg y’all!!! Words cannot describe how mouthwatering the food is here!!! Everything is great!! The ribs are my go to though!!! I always start off by ordering at least 3 whole slabs!!! ? The overall service is wonderful and prompt. This is a must go to for barbecue!!! Not only the meats, but the sides are just as good as well! A Must try if visiting here in the Phenix City/Columbus area!!!!!
