Alaska King Crab House - Philadelphia

I haven't been here in over 2 years, so we decided to try them last week. We tried Dungeness crab cluster, and snow crab clusters. They were delicious.

I always order the blue crabs and steamed shrimp at this restaurant. The dishes are consistently delicious and fresh.

Steamed snow crab was delicious and full of meat. The sauce goes amazing with the seafood, and I never enjoyed broccoli more than anytime in my life thanks to this sauce. Service was great, but do not expect to be treated like a customer in a regular restaurant because it is take it and go type of place. They want you to get the stuff fast and go. Price is very, very reasonable for what you are getting. Would return often.

We brought 4 whitening platters and all 4 was trash!!! No meat in not one piece. Drove all the way from kop area to buy your trash!!!!

Went in the other day craving fried scallops and ended up settling on a fried shrimp and scallop platter. The shrimp and fries were pretty good but I was very disappointed to find out they had given me these horrible little imitation scallops. It was like a cross between eating a sponge and a fishy pancake and I ended up throwing away 5 out of 6 scallops because they were disgusting. If they had represented them as something besides actual scallops I wouldn 't have bought them in the first place. Now I can 't speak to the rest of their food and most of it might be great but whatever you do, don 't order scallops because you won 't get any anyway.
