We have lived here for two months, biggest mistake we ever made.There is no ventilation in the hallways on all floors.The HVAC system is broken and under consideration for repairs. The hallways are hot, stink and unhealthy. Apartments are being renovated and some have asbestos. There is asbestos remediation being done. I am sure under guidelines, but particles do transfer into the hallways, no circulation of air, particles sit.Elevators are a joke. Rarely are they all working. 617 apartments using two elevators, very long waits. This causes crowded elevators, sometimes 8 to 10 people cramped in. Also there is no ventilation in the elevators, hot, smelly and unhealthy.Lack of housekeeping. The hallway carpet stinks, dust accumulated on woodwork. The white leather couch in our hallway is disgustingly filthy. Elevator are also filthy. Carpets on the floor have holes and are pet stained. No pride at all taken by management in the care of the building.We were lied to by the rental agent. We were told the elevator situation was corrected and the dog park would be available in June. None of this was true. Nothing was mentioned about the broken HVAC system for the hallways. Renters beware, they will tell you anything to get you to sign.We rented this apartment remotely through a reputable realtor. We never would have considered this building if we saw it in person. She should have known better than guide us to this building.I have submitted a complaint to the Department of Health and the Department of Licenses and Inspections. This is an unsafe and unhealthy building to live in.
This place is a joke, they spend all their time fixing the apartments and renovating the units.... and disrupting your work day. they will not send out emails or news letters or notifications about the renovations taking place so you can reschedule conference calls around all the banging and drilling.. management has no curtesy..let me give you some advice....how about renovate the nasty hallways on every floor . or better yet get some gym equipment that doesn't break every other week or how about the blinds in the gym that you cant even raze because all the strings are broken. or the hot top that is always broken... don't forget last summer the hot tub was broke for 7 months because of a special part they needed only to discover 2 months later the hot tub broke again.. or how about dusting the the gym or cleaning the pool area. or the pool it self. if you get a tour of the pool I hope you look up at the nasty sky roof that has never been clean ever at least in the 5 years I have lived here .... do your self a favor look somewhere else for new home this place is trash like the hallways.
My apartment has been a constant construction site since I moved in. There have been 5 separate leaks in apartments above mine over the last 11 months. Each leak has caused significant water damage in my apartment and has taken weeks and near constant complaining to resolve due to under-staffing.Due to the length of time to resolve water damage, there is almost certainly a mold problem at this point.The new management company is not concerned with living conditions in this building.
I've been trying to apply for an apartment for the past week or two. At first management was very responsive but since has not returned my calls or emails for one question I have simply asking which apartments do and do not have carpet since some are renovated. They put me on hold for 20 minutes and when I emailed I got a standard response from the person who had been helping me as if we had never spoken, and haven't received any follow up. The reviews are bad already, and this has made me decide not to live here.
I read all the comments and couldn 't understand why they were so terrible so I called myself to learn about their availability. A Jasmine picked up the phone to tell me that she canceled my tour that I made the night prior. I asked You canceled my tour... why? she replied with because we are understaffed and she was the only one there. I told her i 'm ok with canceling my tour since I am currently out of state I wanted to do a virtual... before I could even finish my sentence, she replies good, we 'll cancel your tour and remove you from our database and hangs up. If she had let me finish my sentence she would have heard that I am relocating for a job and am looking for a place to live and wanted to learn about their offerings. I called back and the phone rang longer (which I am sure she knew it was me calling back because she hung up on me. Who raised her? this time an Ashley answered the phone rudely. I ask for Jasmine and she restates what she thought I had said to Jasmine when I was speaking with her, which tells me they most likely sit right next to each other or in the same office. I tell her I plan to relocate next month and am looking for a place to live, had jasmine not hung up on me she would have heard that . She places me on hold, then Jasmine gets back on the phone and says she will send all the information to me by email.... ALL IN ALL STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ITS A BLESSING THAT I WONT BE LIVING HERE AND UNFORTUNATELY THEY 'VE LOST MY BUSINESS.
