Scallops with Risotto was very delicious. Not a fan of asparagus and not sure it was in the description, but they were on my plate. The Bliss salad with mixed green, grapes and Gorgonzola was fantastic. Short ribs were perfected. We're going back, quick service. We were in about an hour with a full restaurant on the first floor.
This is my second visit to Bliss. I chose it because we wanted a quiet place to have a great dinner and conversation. So often, restaurants are so loud that you can hear screaming. That's not the case with Bliss. It's quiet enough for a business dinner or getting in with friends. The food is prepared with care. I ordered the pan meerrot chicken and it was divinely prepared and served with root vegetables. We will definitely return to Bliss.
Bliss was nothing but beautiful. The ambience was cozy and simple, but could have been very hype on a busy night. We came after people were released to go to shows. The first question of our server was whether we had to be somewhere, which was very considerate and showed that he served there for a while. He recommended Carapaccio and ohh man was amazing. He also gave us wine recommendations with our food, short ribs and salmon that were perfect. Especially since my friend white with his short ribs wanted instead of red his recommendation was great. My salmon had a crispy outdoor and tenderness center, the Swiss car was not bitter and the sauce and risotto that were accompanied were incredible. Every bite was a wide choice of taste. The short arm of my friend had a delicate, fried taste with the Au-Jus and wild rice with carrots. Again, every bite was perfect. We have a flourless chocolate cake and cream broth for dessert, and they were both pretty good. We were also not blown away, which was regrettable in view of the quality of our dinner. All in all we had a fantastic night with great food in a beautiful atmosphere
I felt like I had been sent back to the 90s with the food. It was good, but not what I expect today. Cocktails were not an event. Nice looking room. The hostess was very nice and a pleasure. Waitstaff was sufficient, but they seemed to get instructions more than really customer service. Nice, but not engaging.
We missed a great evening because of Bliss hd to close because of a gas lead, which they called me about two hours before the 6 p.m. booking time.
