Anyone who left a negative review for this restaurant clearly hasn't dined here. I tried the co-op eggs Benedict with potatoes, and it was fantastic! I highly recommend the Co-Op restaurant.
Nice atmosphere. For breakfast, I had the pastry selection. It was very attractive. It included two croissants and two fruit pastries. They were doughy, as if underbaked, and didn't have a lot of flavor. It was disappointing.I gave them another chance for dinner, getting the seasonal pasta. It was delicious, maybe the best meal I had in Philly. It's sort of weird to have had one of the worst meals (breakfast pastries) and the best meal (the seasonal pasta) at the same restaurant.
I visited this place for happy hour, and the hush puppies were enjoyable. The drinks were tasty as well. While nothing was particularly outstanding, it's a nice spot to relax in University City.
Great and friendly staff, tasty food (small portions), and a lovely summer-y atmosphere. We went for brunch, and they had the big panel windows open which let in lots of sun and refreshing air. The lobby of The Study is directly connected to the restaurant, so there's a sort-of bustly lively energy about the place (in a good way), and we enjoyed the meal. It wasn't busy when we went, so we sat around for a while talking. We may come back for dinner sometime.
