Crabby Cafe Chinatown - Philadelphia

Fresh seafood! Definitely worth trying if you like steamed or fried seafood

A bit mixed. It's kind of a Chinatown sports bar that serves big bags of steamed crabs with yummy sauces which you eat at paper lined tables with a roll of paper towels as napkins. If you can picture that. Fun and messy! We went on a Monday for all you can eat blue crabs, unfort. at only the were sold out. We ordered other variety of crabs instead, which were delicious. We were able to watch the olympics on a large screen TV. Go here with a group who loves crabs and sports. Otherwise might disappoint. BYOB

Basically a crab shack in the middle of Philadelphia with a BYOB policy not fine dining but cheap and cheerful

Nice experience, we went for the all you can eat blue crabs on Monday.We liked that they had different sauces for the crabs. and you could choose a different sauce for each round. The crabs came out hot and the server was very efficient with keeping our cups filled and the crabs flowing. Our only con was that towards the end the crabs seemed to be more watery than flavorful.Especially the butter garlic ones. They were very bland but the first batch of them were very flavorful. Calamari was delicious as well as the crab fries. I will definitely be back to try out the regular menu

Service was exceptional , staff was courteous, attentive, polite and helpful. The food was very well prepared . I would recommend it to everyone
