It’s a beautiful and clean establishment with excellent customer service. The food we ordered was delicious and fresh, and the portions were generous at reasonable prices. I also loved the ambiance. I would definitely return for breakfast or brunch if I’m in the area again. Highly recommend!
We had the flushing, Belgian caffeine and sweet potato empanadas. that was amazing. but they come with empty, because the portions are generous, and to distribute all the great foods, the service was phenomenal. every time we looked out from our tellers, every waiting staff that came by would stop to make sure we were good. I'm so glad we stopped here and I'm back in the phillie.
The food was excellent, and the service was just as great. Rick at the door was very friendly, and we truly appreciated that. Our waiter, Matt, was fantastic! However, there were a few frustrating aspects about this restaurant: it only accepts cash, they automatically add an 18% tip for bills over $50, splitting checks isn’t allowed, and it's bring your own bottle (BYOB). If they could address these issues, it would greatly improve the experience.
My partner and I had a fantastic time at the Green Eiercafé for our brunch date. From the moment we walked in, the service was attentive and friendly. I ordered the large grilled cheese sandwich with a breakfast twist, while my partner had the slow-cooked short ribs Benedict with potatoes. Wow! The coffee was so good that we enjoyed it black! Our server was wonderful as well. The lack of parking initially made us a bit anxious, but we drove around the block and luckily found two spots open. I'm so glad we were patient because this place is definitely worth the visit!
The food was fantastic here. I had the Pecan Pie French Toast, a side of bacon (I told them to make the bacon crispy), and the Creme Brûlée Latte. The Pecan Pie French Toast was sweet, but not overly sweet to the point where it wasn’t enjoyable. I was nervous about getting it at first, but the waitress reassured me that it wasn’t too sweet, and it wasn’t. The bacon was thick cut and crispy like I wanted and the latte was good. I was too full to finish the latte. I’m happy I picked these items and would definitely visit again!
