L'anima - Philadelphia

A neighborhood holding from a ground. a consistent menu with a lot of specials, we always know what we are going in l’anima (and yet we often get the specials! the personal is informed and attentive, the pasta dishes are great enough to satisfy, but not so big that they are filled, and the apps and pinas are unique. (they go for the citron-infused artichokes: they will not regret it. we are not dessert people, and yet we find each other because it meets the place. bring a bottle of red and relax at l’anima.

L’anima had some of the best Italian cuisine in the city, all for a reasonable price. we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our meal so much. we recommend the Caesar salad, the pasta ametricana and the pesto. the panna cotta was the best dessert. julio was added to our server and its positive energy and amazing service to our incredible experience. we will return with more friends.

We love L’Anima, eating is always great and the service is excellent!

Food is delicious and service is really good. Menu is limited but that’s intentional so that the staff can excel in what they have on the menus. Recommend a few starters, a pasta or two to share, and then a main course. BYOB is nice as well.
