I ordered sparkling rose, which was not sparkling so I didn't have more than a sip which the waiter seemed oblivious to, when I needed more water I realized the waiter was more concerned with the other waitress and his conversation with her than the us. When my salad came out, my boyfriend had to get up to ask for the dressing I had requested on the side. Once I added that I realized that the dressing I specifically asked for it not to have, was on it. Less than impressed.
Quiet, almost cozy, atmosphere. Big luscious desserts. The crab cakes were so-so. Gritty. I would go back to try something else. Dynamite staff. Very attentive. Overall: a nice place.
I've been to PA 6 in the past and always had a nice time. This round we had a few unfortunate things happen. First, we were handed menus and asked to seat ourselves at the appointed table. Then we ordered their mimosas and after waiting 10 minutes already, we were told we needed to wait longer, because they ran out of champagne and they needed to get more. This was a Sunday morning brunch, at 11:00am, when the restaurant opened at 11:00am. Once the champagne finally arrived it was warm and the server had no solution for us. The bottle was also left on the table without being opened. To follow it up the food was sub-par. It seems they have changed the menu and possibly the chef. My friend ordered her steak medium/rare and it arrived with no pink in the middle. Very bland and very disappointing.
Service was attentive and able to read the room didn 't interrupt any conversations. Took my father here to catch up and the noise level was great (we came early and our server turned it down a bit without us even having to ask! . Ambiance was nice. My father got the steak (loved it , I got the wild mushroom pasta (loved it . They have La Colombe french press that could probably provide for 3 or 4. Desserts looked great but we went around the corner for gelato instead. Location is nice for walking around, restaurant didn 't seem like it could possibly get crowded (great job spacing the tables! . There are stairs to get to the dining room though so be weary of your heels!! :
We last visited Pennsylvania 6 about a year ago, and had been regular customers. Upon our return we found that the menu seems smaller, the crowd thinner, and the drinks less substantial. The raw bar options are non existent on the menu when asked the server said that the seafood tower is definitely available but why not on the menu? We didn't order it for that reason. They used to have a really nice ceviche, but no longer. And all of the employees we spoke to seemed to have been with the restaurant for a short time.
