Red Hook Coffee And Tea - Philadelphia

Initially, the restaurant may seem unassuming, but the sandwich I ordered completely surprised me with its incredible flavor. I highly recommend the harvest sandwich; every component, from the tempeh to the hummus to the bread, is top-notch. I will definitely be returning. Update: I have returned multiple times since my first visit. The sandwiches are consistently delicious, making it my go-to choice.

I am a fan of dogs, but they do not belong in a restaurant where food is being served. The space was small and a woman came in with a large fluffy dog that sat only 6 feet away from me while I was trying to eat my sandwich. The employee even complimented the woman on how cute her dog was, showing that they didn't mind the presence of pets. The food was average at best. The tuna melt I ordered came out as a closed-faced sandwich with a thick slab of unmelted cheese in the middle. The potato salad was a surprise, as it was filled with grapes, quinoa, and chickpeas (which I did not realize when I ordered it). There seemed to be more of these extras than actual potatoes in the salad. The employee at the counter was friendly, but the cleanliness of the establishment left something to be desired. I only stayed to eat because I was hungry and in a hurry.

Very good hot latte!! We also liked that we could roll the stroller in here (yay) because often there are stairs that prevent us from taking the baby with us to grab a coffee. A good vibe all around, 10/10 will be back!

OMG! If you’re vegan, the chicken salad on an everything bagel will have you hooked at Red Hook!! Absolutely delicious!
