Root Restaurant + Wine Bar

I absolutely love this bar! The customer service is always excellent, with the owner coming over to greet me personally. He is so friendly and enjoyable to chat with. They have a great selection of beers and the food is delicious, primarily Greek cuisine with various specials available. The atmosphere is laid-back and they have a fantastic outdoor seating area in the rear. I highly recommend this place!

Food was excellent! A must go to eat or take out! Authentic Greek cuisine! Grilled octopus was my favorite.

I'm a local and I can confidently say that this is the best spot to visit in Fishtown. No question about it.

The food was very delicious, but we were disappointed to only receive four pieces of pita bread with two tubs of tzatziki.

Do not leave the limited / simple menu they fool .. everything is incredibly delicious .. they will not regret it!
