Scanlons Saloon - Philadelphia

I really enjoy finding a good dive bar. The pool tables were a lot of fun and the beer was nice and cold. The bartender was fantastic as well.

This is the best bar in Manayunk, and possibly in all of Philadelphia. It's a fantastic spot in the neighborhood with friendly bartenders, affordable beer, and pool.

I have been attending Scanlon's Wednesday night Quizzo for the past few weeks, and it has allowed me to get a better sense of what Scanlon's has to offer. I am impressed with the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, although it is not quite a dive bar or a locals-only spot. I have tried a few snack items, but I have not sampled enough to give a full review. The bar offers a good selection of draft and bottled beers at reasonable prices. If you are looking for fancy cocktails, you may need to go elsewhere as they primarily serve basic mixers. The service is friendly and approachable, so pull up a seat at the bar and say hello.
