Contribuisci feedbackThe food must be good since they receive a lot of orders, but they really need to improve their service for DoorDash drivers. I waited over 45 minutes for a customer's order and still never received it, so I ended up leaving. I saw several other drivers come in, and each one experienced an unreasonably long wait as well.
I’m really impressed with this restaurant! My food was ready in just 10 minutes and it was perfectly hot! The service was professional and efficient. The flavors were incredible, reminding me of my grandmother’s cooking.
I returned to the online menu, only to learn from the same rude staff member that several items listed weren't actually available. So, I inquired about how we should place our order with incorrect information online. We eventually decided on cassava with rice, peanut soup, and seafood. During our wait, I observed three different customers who had ordered online but left empty-handed because their orders hadn’t been processed. I felt sympathetic; the young ladies were trying their best, but it was disappointing to see so many people walk away without food. I was determined to enjoy my meal, so when I asked about washing my hands, I was surprised to learn there was no public restroom. How can you eat food meant to be enjoyed with your hands without being able to clean them? This forced us to take our food home, hoping it would at least taste good. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Everything was overly oily, the rice was subpar, and the soup was excessively peppery. This was the first time I ever urged my family to throw away food. I managed to eat half of my meal, and it was somewhat better with the fufu, but not good enough to warrant a second attempt. It felt like the kitchen was run by a family cooking for themselves rather than for customers unfamiliar with their cuisine. I regret choosing this restaurant. The lack of customer service and no bathroom are significant issues. I hope they work on improving the lighting and provide better support for their staff. I genuinely want this restaurant to succeed.
I’m giving this restaurant a one-star rating because I ordered egusi with extra fufu, and one of the fufu pieces was spoiled. What’s even more concerning is that the staff appeared to be aware that it was bad. I'm really upset because this could have made me and my daughters sick. Please ensure that food is checked before serving!
The food is enjoyable, but the servings of fufu are quite small.
