Tataki Ramen Sushi - Philadelphia

The service is always top-notch, and the experience I had was excellent. The veggie miso soup was incredible, especially with the addition of chili powder. The dumplings were tasty, and the yakitori was also very good.

The food was fine, but I was disappointed with my experience. When I handed the server my payment, she slid the money back to me instead of handing it over directly. When I inquired about it, she bluntly said she didn’t want to touch me. It’s unfortunate, but I won’t be going back.

The restaurant has a charming and trendy atmosphere with a cozy dining room. Just a heads up, parking can be tricky, but if you're fortunate enough to find a spot right outside the restaurant on Lancaster Avenue, it's free. Now, about the ramen...WOW! I fully intended to take some home, but I ended up finishing every last bite! As a pescatarian, I noticed that most of the ramen dishes used pork broth, but there were about 3-4 options available with chicken, vegetables, or shrimp. I tried the Vegetable Miso Ramen on my first visit.

The food and drinks were fantastic! I would definitely return. The service was excellent as well. We ordered Japanese fried rice, spicy chicken miso ramen, and miso ramen. The restaurant's ambience was wonderful. I also appreciated that there was a full bar with top-shelf liquor available.
