Thirsty Dice Board Game Cafe

A few months ago, I posted on Nextdoor asking for recommendations for a place to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday. I got plenty of suggestions, but ultimately found a spot through a Google search: Thirsty Dice in Philadelphia, PA. We celebrated her birthday there this past weekend, and it was AMAZING! The place has a fantastic vibe, offering great food and a wide variety of games for guests to enjoy. We had a blast playing Cards Against Humanity, and the food was delicious—especially the Margarita Pizza, Whiskey BBQ Wings, and Hot Nashville Sandwich! The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. If you're looking for a clean, welcoming, and laid-back place to relax and have fun with friends or family, THIS IS IT! Be sure to make reservations to ensure a table for your group.

What a fantastic concept! The venue itself was lovely, but the food options were somewhat limited, and both the pizza and tacos were quite bland. On the positive side, the host was friendly and welcoming. However, our waiter was not very attentive, and I had to ask the host to bring us our check. The games were amazing, and we had a great time playing them. They offered a wide variety, from the usual to the more unusual. I would consider returning for a daytime event, but I wouldn’t recommend it for lunch or dinner.

Appetizers were fun and delicious! Sandwiches were good too. Cocktails were delicious! Games were fun and the staff was super helpful!

The board games made the time fly by. I really enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to trying the brunch next time. I almost lost track of the time, haha!
