Ambau Khmer - Phnom Penh

I came twice because it was recommended by a Tuktuk driver. the first time was great, so I came back. I've been pad thai the first time. then some white rice and calamari the second time around. both time with mango shake and coconut shake. the price is very reasonable and eating is delicious. the waiter and waiter are super friendly.

Great eating, personally I tried roast flat noodles with pork. nice staff.

Nice (and very nice waitress with practically no English, but an amazing smile. the khmet amok stew was good, but not really sharp or remarkable. the spring rolls were delicious, but the diving sauce was missing taste, the beer was good and cheap.

Very good local and regional food, good pricing around $5-6/ dish and $2-3 for drink. Good for lunch/ dinner when you walk around tourist areas.

Try the Khmer Curry. Awesome flavour, not spicy at all, great portion size and just for 4.5
