From the perfectly executed Bijou cocktail, blending gin, vermouth, and green chartreuse with exquisite balance, to the meticulously crafted small plates, Sottise pays homage to French classics with a modern twist. Their menu, steeped in traditional flavors enhanced by armagnac, calvados, and cognac, showcases Old World techniques such as curing, fermenting, and pickling to elevate each dish. Our indulgence in seven small plate selections, including fresh baguette, deviled eggs, tartare de boeuf, little gems, roasted beets, scallop Crudo, and oysters steak tartare, left us enamored with every bite. Without reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend Sottise for an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly marries French culinary heritage with innovative flair.
Sottise was a wonderful dining experience. Exceptional flavors, good service, and a charming ambiance make it a great choice.
This was my 2nd time at Sottise. The ambiance, veranda comfort, and service was fantastic. However, the food itself left a lot to be desired. We ordered the pork trotters, little gem salad, escargot pasta, scallop crudo, and mussels. Everything is very traditionally French (which I love) but everything was very oversalted. I am not typically sensitive to salt but this was noticed by both my partner and I across multiple dishes. We experienced this as well during our first visit and assumed we just had an off-night. My recommendation when visiting Sottise: go for the cocktails and the great wine list. But go elsewhere for dinner.
I felt like I was transported to a European cafe. Not only was the restaurant space perfect, but the food was truly remarkable. Great experience can't wait to return.
The mussel is the best I ever had, so juicy, scallops are amazing too, the tangerine and pistachios sauce matches it perfectly. Will definitely come here
