Blue Fin - Phoenix

I love eating at this restaurant because they offer great food at a great price. My favorite dishes include the pork katsu plate, panko-crusted fish, cucumber side salad, wakame side salad, ginger salad dressing, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and salmon plate. The staff is friendly and accommodating, even when dealing with difficult customers. The owner is a cool and highly intelligent woman who is actively involved in giving back to the community. I regularly order from Blue Fin to feed my office of 50 people and they always have my back. Highly recommend this place!

Today, I ordered four dishes from Blue Fin: Tonkatsu, Beef Teriyaki, Teriyaki Tofu, and Yakisoba noodles with tofu. I have tried the Teriyaki tofu before and the tofu was well-seasoned and fried. However, today the tofu was undercooked and lacked seasoning, and it was served over plain white rice. The dish was bland and unappetizing. The Yakisoba had boiled noodles topped with unseasoned vegetables and uncooked, unseasoned tofu. The menu showed Yakisoba with nicely cooked and seasoned noodles, but the dish I received looked nothing like the picture on the menu. This was not what I expected based on my previous experiences with Yakisoba. I ended up adding sesame oil and soy sauce at home to salvage the dish, but I was extremely disappointed with my meal.

Same owners. Same amazing food and fast service. Use to come here often 20 years ago when I was in my teens. The prices aren’t that different and they’ve kept it super affordable for the quality of food. I enjoy the tofu avocado salad and chicken fried rice.

Wow...Ive been passing by this place almost everyday and was iffy even though they get a lot of business . I am a super picky eater. But tbh this place exceeded my expectations. I ordered the spicy tuna rolls, and a chicken teriyaki bowl. Both were amazing even though the tuna roll was very spicy haha . Also the lady that work in front i didnt get her name but i came in around 11am . Anywho she was very nice.

I love this place! I've been coming here since the early 2000, and still going here for lunch, this restaurant has been run by family that has been quite successful in the Phoenix area, Super friendly staff, the place has seating inside and outside in case you want to enjoy the Phoenix weather, Overall I give this place a 5 star cause it's one of my favorite! : :
