My blueberry scone was a delightful combination of soft, fluffy texture, bursting with juicy blueberries, and drizzled with a sweet icing that perfectly complemented its size. My son chose an almond scone, which was equally scrumptious. To top off our meal, we enjoyed a chai latte and coffee from their barista—it's nice to have specialty coffee drinks available at a restaurant. Before we left, we decided to purchase an extra scone to take home, along with a couple of their beautiful homemade loaves of bread. Truly impressive! The staff was friendly, helpful, and prompt, and the prices were very reasonable. The interior of the restaurant has a charming market feel, reminiscent of a Southern market, offering both delightful dining and items for purchase. If you're in the area, this is definitely a spot worth visiting!
I was thrilled to discover this place a while ago. It's charming, unique, and offers great coffee and treats. However, when I visited today to escape the summer heat and enjoy my coffee, I found that the music was all Christian-themed. It’s not something that everyone can relate to. Listening to songs about Jesus dying on the cross while trying to enjoy my coffee and pastry wasn't the experience I was hoping for. I think I'll be looking for another spot to cool off at.
The pastries and breakfast items are excellent. It's a laid-back spot that feels more authentic and homemade than corporate. There's plenty of space to sit and work; it's busy but not overwhelmingly so, and it's surprisingly quiet compared to many cafes these days. Plus, there are power outlets for your laptop and, of course, WiFi. The ambiance is eclectic. Definitely worth a visit!
This place is great! Same owner as next door Hatch Chile, attached and you can walk thru inside. We've enjoyed their vast, reasonably priced wine and beer section. So many local beers which is awesome. The pizza and a 6 pack beer (Huss, try the koffee kolsch) OR pizza and bottle of wine are just $25 every day! They make their own bread in house and the green chile bread is to die for. You can even sometimes get lucky with the day old bread and get a smokin' deal. The pastry case is dangerous because everything is so delicious. We've had the brownie and the pop tarts so far. So much yum! What a great addition to the neighborhood! We will be back again.
This is the best place for a green chili, spicy, hamburger. I come here all the way from North Peoria just to get their green chili meatloaf sandwich. The bakery is also outstanding! Always worth the drive!
