This afternoon I came to lunch in denny. I was there for a few minutes when my service-dog drew attention to a medical emergency. I apologised to get my medication. After I took it, I wanted to pay my bill and go. Joyce was so nice. she asked me if I was in order and told me not to worry about the bill. I thanked her and went home to rest. when I woke up, I realized that I had left my phone in the restaurant. I came back later to thank joyce and pick up my phone. Thanks for being so nice. I'll be back soon.
I was having work done on my car so needed to kill some time on a Thursday morning. This Denny's was nearby but woefully understaffed. One guy as host, server, cashier and packing up take out orders. The poor guy was hustling but the odds were not in his favor. When he put orders in the cook kept reiterating a long list of food staples they were out of. He had to relay this to customers, who were not pleased. Long waits to be seated and served, but I wasn't in any hurry. Ordered the French Toast Slam with bacon. The eggs were fine. The bacon was overcooked, flavorless. The French Toast was... let's just say not what I expected. The restaurant seemed run down, dirty. I used to run a busy coffee shop and then installed Point of Sales networks for a few yrs. This Denny's is very poorly managed. Next time I'll eat at the Taco Bell instead.
I came in for a remake from Sat spoke to Joyce.She did amazing. Her customer service is always amazing. She’s amazing with kids. I appreciate you Joyce for making it right. Kids were very pleased with her service as well only complaint is guy wears glasses is very rude. Making faces when Joyce asks him do something and he shouldn’t speak to his management the way he does. His customer service is very poor and uses excuses rather than doing his job properly. In 7 years coming here I’ve never seen this type employee. So I would avoid him as a server.
Matthew, the morning server, was very attentive, well-mannered and fast paced for being the ONLY server they had working this morning. He also had and kept a great smile on his face with demanding customers. He did a fantastic job owning his job as a Denny employee. I give him a 5star, hands down.
