El Portal - Phoenix

After attending Mass at St. Anthony church, we treated ourselves to a delicious breakfast at El Portal. We enjoyed tasty menudo, tacos, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. It was all very delicious.

We enjoyed a laid-back brunch on a Sunday morning. We were searching for a breakfast spot near downtown that was open and had gluten free options, and we were delighted to find that this restaurant had plenty of Mexican dishes that fit the bill. The food was delicious and generously portioned. The breakfast potatoes were boiled, not fried, and seasoned perfectly with salt and pepper.

I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious and affordable Mexican food. The staff is friendly and courteous.
