The staff at the cash register are friendly (which is important to me) and the wait time was short. Dinner was priced at $30-50 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
I used to work at this restaurant when I was younger, and to be honest, it is still the best Chinese food I have ever had. I have tried many other places, but I always find myself returning here. I have sampled everything on the menu, and it is all delicious. The owners are very kind as well. Although indoor dining is currently closed, I still give it a 5-star rating!
The food at this restaurant is passable. The chicken garlic was tasty, but the lo mein sauce seemed aged and burnt. The wonton soup was mediocre, while the hot and sour soup was awful - it was overly thick and gelatinous. The egg roll was just average.
I am giving this restaurant 3 stars because they seem to use broccoli as a filler to save on costs. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken last time and it was almost half filled with broccoli, which was too much for my liking. This time, I asked for no broccoli and the lady said they would give me extra chicken instead. When I arrived, I found out that they charged me an extra $1 to remove the broccoli, which I found absurd. I would suggest skipping the Kung Pao Chicken dish unless you don't mind it being filled with broccoli. Other than that, the food was fine.
The wonton soup is awful. I gave it another try three times, but it is consistently bad - doughy and flavorless. The fried rice is also disappointing, dry and bland. Three strikes, you're out!
