Rott N' Grapes Uptown - Phoenix

I made a reservation for Valentine's Day with my partner and our daughter. Initially, we were greeted warmly, but things quickly went downhill from there. We ordered a salad and pizza, but the salad didn’t arrive until 40 minutes after we placed our order. Hours passed, and our pizzas still hadn’t come. When we inquired about our food, we were informed that our ticket had been lost and they were not prepared to serve us. What was supposed to be a special evening with family turned into a disaster. By 9 PM, we found ourselves driving around Phoenix looking for a drive-thru because we were starving. It was especially frustrating to watch other diners get their food while we felt completely ignored and forgotten. Although the owner did apologize, they missed the opportunity to offer us drinks or our salad as compensation.

When I made the reservation, I had a feeling I would enjoy this place. Keith was very attentive, informing me they would be busy because of a large group that evening and providing directions for parking. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by Patty. The restaurant is smaller than I expected, but the impressive wine list, delicious pizza, and Brandon, the bartender, more than made up for it since our party of three sat at the bar. Keith also took the time to come out and speak with me before the evening ended, which I really appreciated. It had been a while since I experienced a place where the staff genuinely seemed to care about their guests. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to returning soon!

It was a great little sound. the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I felt honest as if we were treated like friends of the family. only disappointment found out that it had been there for more than 5 years and I have missed all the time! they love this place and we will definitely be back. -jonathan

Quaint location, perfect for first date. Quiet enough to converse. Sometimes people may be able to overhear loud speakers but service by Brandon was awesome and overall highly recommend. I will return
