This place has a really nice vibe. The waitress we had was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and food they had. I think the menu has a great variety so each person can fine something they will like. Cheeseburger was amazing. The indoor and outdoor seating looked beautiful. Very unique flavors in all the dishes we tried. Price point was good for each item. I think they had meals ranging from $14-$32 depending on your budget you can have a fancy dinner or a classy pizza. Great place to take friends, have a business meeting, or date night. Easy to find location wise, parking is limited. Overall I would definitely bring friends here that came to town to treat them to a special meal that is not like other restaurants. Great job for bringing a unique menu and flavors that mix well together.
St. Francis is now Oak. Same menu. Different name? Either way, great place to get a few drinks and really well thought out food. We ordered... Baked Goat Cheese. Killer. Pepperoni Sausage Pizza. Ate the whole thing. Blue Cheese Salad. Excellent. French Onion Burger. Way over cooked and bitter. (Reason for 4 stars). The baked Goat Cheese is seriously the best thing you're ever going to eat. Seriously. Just get it. The pizza is wood fired and flavorful. Hits on all points. The burger. Disappointed. We have a rule that we never send anything back... Unless we didn't order it. I ordered a medium rare french onion burger. What I got was charcoal. So sad because I bet it would've been outstanding if done correctly. However, this is one of the best places in all Phoenix. Probably in all of Arizona.
HAD To put this here.... it was very delicious and very nice great people. but my Hubby would say... I wanted to take a moment to thank St. Francis and our server Susan for a wonderful meal tonight. The woman ordered the Pig Dip Sandwich and I ordered the French Onion Burger. Our server was very knowledgeable on the wines and helped us choose a great one for our unrefined palates. The food was excellent. I would describe as craftsmanship, as the food was not attractive to the mass market, but was made for a culinary expression of the cook. We had the butter cake for dessert. Absolutely delicious and simply excellent. I know longer overly sweet, but I prefer interesting flavors that are interesting to enjoy. Finally, I can't say enough positive about our server, Susan. She made the whole meal even better with her conversation and her commitment to serve us. I'd put St. Francis as an excellent date restaurant. Food is fun. The atmosphere is romantic. It was a great place to enjoy your dinner company while enjoying delicious food. Our price for this meal was extremely reasonable. Frankly, the bottle of wine was more then whole meal and it was a pretty cheap bottle of wine. You can't go wrong if you enjoy a great atmosphere with interesting dishes.
Just had a great brunch. The tomatoes and eggs in St. Francis are on point. The mood was cold and the bartender Brian took care of us. I would definitely recommend this place if you were looking for something else. #brunch #greatdish
