Stacy's Off Da Hook Bbq And Soul Food

I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but unfortunately, I was let down. We placed our order online, and while there were a few hiccups in that process (which isn't entirely the owner's fault), our food did arrive fairly quickly. The hot links were just okay, and the mac and cheese felt like little more than plain yellow noodles. The red beans and rice definitely needed more cooking time. The fried chicken was almost flavorless, although I will say the meat was cooked perfectly. Our waffle ended up soggy, but the chicken tenders were decent. Based on the pictures I’ve seen, I don’t think what we received represented the best this place can offer. I might be open to giving it another try in the future, but they really need to step up their game to win me back.

I absolutely loved the fried catfish! I would have liked some meat in the collard greens, but they were still incredibly delicious. I can't wait to come back!

I recently discovered my favorite new weekend dining spot, and I have to say, it's the best chicken I've ever had in my life! Make sure to ask for the spicy barbecue sauce—it's absolutely delicious. This place is incredible, and you definitely need to give it a try; you won't be disappointed. Everything is fresh and made to order. Don't miss the mac and cheese and potato salad, and for dessert, the peach cobbler is simply divine! Fantastic experience all around!

Absolutely incredible fried chicken! I also really enjoyed the yams and green beans. Since it was my first visit, I can't wait to return and try more dishes! I only have one suggestion for the owners: consider giving the dining area a makeover. Otherwise, this is the best soul food restaurant in Arizona. Great job to the cooks!
