Taylor's Chowder House - Phoenix

OH My Goodness what great food. First time here, a friend brought me to Taylor's. I had Fish and Scallops combo. Crispy on the outside and perfection on the inside. Service is amazing too. Try it you will love it.Margi

Got fried clams cost 18.99 maybe got 14 small to tiny whole belly clams and nothing else. This place use to be the greatest to get seafood in the valley. You would get good portions. . Will not go back. My friend was with me . So sad use to Love this place. Not any more..

We have eaten here several times and just love each and every meal we have ordered. The fried Calamari is also very good. Never had a bad meal

Fantastic! Clam chowder is the best in Phoenix, probably in Arizona. Had the combo and the cod, scallops and shrimp were fried perfectly. Not to much batter, but still had a nice crisp and the fish was great. Girlfriend had the seafood Alfredo, which was a little heavy for my taste, but delicious. She devoured it like a monster. I'll be back soon!

Searched for Best Fish and Chips, they were formerly Best of. The food was acceptable but nothing close to Best of. My issue was the bartender/manager, I thinking a seafood place would have drinks like a Hurricane, etc, I did not really look around at the cliental prior, it was clear, after the fact, this is not that type of place. I tried to cancel our drink orders but the bartender, who came to our table, was not listening. Drinks were, challenging. Having tended bar for sometime, this is very poor service. Again the food was acceptable.
