Texas Roadhouse - Phoenix

My husband ordered the filet mignon it was good, I ordered the catfish it was okay, atmosphere was good, and it was quick and fast for it being the holidays.

Typically I haven't liked the food much here. This is the 4th time going. I had the shrimp over rice dinner. All the food was completely delicious!! I asked for drawn butter and the chef was awesome and made me some. Steaks were cooked perfectly rare. My friends had a sirloin and a porterhouse. With a veterans discount, 3 meals, 2 margaritas with an extra shot in each, a mai tai..... $116 for 3 people. That's really cheap for 3 people with drinks nowadays. The food quality was really good. Service was great! It was Saturday so it was packed. We made a reservation before going. I highly recommend this one in Metro center on a busy night. I'm not too big on the atmosphere here but that's just my opinion

At 3:28 on Friday Dec, 29th I had the best experience here, My Mom and Dad and I were happily welcomed in by our server “J” and I personally had the best time from how kind and cheerful our server was with this experience.

The food was way below my expectations. I ordered the grilled shrimp with two sides. I don't remember if the menue said the shrimp comes with rice. I did not even touch the rice and the shrimps were smaller for the price I paid for. The full diner was 10 small shrimps and the regular was five smaller shrimps. I chose green beans and corn as sides. Our server C.......y was amazing. We received great customer service from her. The atmosphere was great. Out of a sudden a specific song will come on and all the servers will dancing and clapping from where they were standing. I enjoyed my time. I will surely go back and maybe try different food on the menue.
