When I inquired about the fish fry, she confidently assured me that it would exceed my expectations. And she was right. The Cod, flown in from Alaska, was thick and delicious, complemented perfectly by the tartar sauce. My meal also came with coleslaw and French fries. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and service!
I had a fantastic time at this dive bar! The all-you-can-eat fish fry was absolutely delicious. They also offer a variety of other items like burgers, sandwiches, Philly steak, and paninis. The outdoor patio and bar add to the experience. I highly recommend checking this place out!
Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is always great here, whether it's the ENORMOUS seafood platter or the amazing cheese curds. The service is always good and during football season Tiff makes the best bloodies. Definitely a go to spot.
Their reputation for a great fish fry is well founded: light batter and succulent fleshy cod that kept coming via the very attentive server Ethan as I kept eating. The strange thing was that the shapes and darkness of the coating changed with each refill yet they were all good. My friend got the Build a Burger and enjoyed it. I initially had a problem with my discount, but a manager straightened it out. Mother Road draft beer was the perfect accompaniment to the meal and to sip on while looking around at the taxidermied critters and nostalgic items like the model of Budweiser's Clydesdales.
The service at this restaurant was excellent. Although there was a wait for the food, the staff was very polite and our waitress was incredibly attentive and anticipated our needs. The seafood, especially the walleye and scallops, was exceptional - tender, delicious, and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The restaurant was a bit too dark for my liking, but the decor was charming and unique. I had some trouble seeing the steps up to the tables due to my poor eyesight. It would be helpful if the entrance door had a clearer label. Overall, we will definitely return to this restaurant.
