We are a party of 6 diners for lunch and 3 of us were hit with bad diarrhea within an hour after lunch, spoiling our afternoon plans in Ayuttaya. Besides that, service staff's attitude were very bad. I was told by our local host that many popular items were not available, although it was still listed in the menu. Food taste is nothing special.
I have been a regular here for the past twenty years+. Like the atmosphere here, having meals by the quiet PaSak river. The famous chacoal grilled river prawn is still the best with its unique dipping. Green curry is also good. Never miss to order deep fried Sheatfishes Pla Nuer Orn). This time round, however, there has been a major renovation going on, with heavy equipments working. Hence, please be informed. Do not expect a peaceful PaSak river view.
Good taste, but only one downside is the price of their signature grilled prawn. A bit too pricey considering the size. Recommendable to book in advance if you prefer air-conditioned tables or going earlier to get seats outside.
You can try various menus which are cooked with variety of fish and some seafoods. They have a folk songs music at the downstairs close to the river view. If you don't like sweet taste please tell their staffs and also, spicy level.
I came in around 3 pm on a Monday (though it’s a public holiday). There was no wait. Parking was easy as the restaurant had its own parking lot. The food was delicious. We loved the grilled River prawn though it is not the best in the city. The sea bass in lime sauce was also good.
