Dachstein Gletscherrestaurant

It was a nice break to lunch on our trip. eating was not breathtaking, but it was okay. it is beautiful that they can eat on the top of the world

To approx. 2700m height the prospects are amazing! the prices are very reasonable, and eating is good. when a visitor had an accident and slipped past due to their wet ski shoes, the personal reaction was so fast and very good! definitely. worth a visit.

It is the only place where they can find hot eating when visiting the dachsteingletcher. we went there for a quick lunch and it was an ok experience. the menu is typical of this type of restaurant, self-service, simple meals but tasty enough. good choice of whisper and drink. the prices are not too high. the only problem is to find a free table, especially during the times when there are many tourist on the gletscher.

It is a modern building that serves as a mass self-service restaurant for skiers and visitors, so it has no atmosphere in comparison to other alpine huts and huts in the mountains, but the choice is great and the eating is good. it has nothing...especially, but it has all the meals that they can find in the region, while most. others will only have a few of them at the same time. the meals are great (not order the great french french french dish, it is more than a whole family can eat), we had the keimknoedel with vanilla sauce and it was great, filled with blueberries. other desserts also looked tasty, there is a selection of sweet dishes, several suppenings for selection and an salatable.

We went up to the Dachstein for the day on the first day of the season on the 25th of December. It was full! The restaurant is right at the top of the mountain, surrounded by skiing places. It was packed for lunch and the...staff was obviously surprised by this run. The tables were not cleared, there was no trays and the queues were long. However we were surprised by the great choice of food, even for vegetarians. There was numerous options, which is rare in such locations. Food is prepared behind a counter at a very high speed and in a good quality. Prices are fair, I had expected them to be higher. Everybody liked their food and was happy, the atmosphere was really winter skiing mountain top and so we went home with nice memories.
