Lone Star Texas Grill - Pickering

Had 16 rowdy 12 13 year olds for my daughter's 13 Birthday. Thank you for making this so special for the kids. Wait staff was great, catering to all their needs. Thank you for the dough balls while they waited for their meals. Everyone...ordered from the children's menu and they were all happy with their meals. It was a great memorable night for my daughter. Thank you.

Service and food were both great. We had shrimp fajitas and chicken fajitas, the fresh shells are delicious. Recommend ordering the guacamole too!

My husband and I were out and about today, so by the time we got around to thinking about lunch it was after 2:30, and we decided to go to Lone Star. We were seated right away, and then ...nothing. we just sat there. It...was 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. A server approached and asked if we had been looked after. We said no, so she told us she wasn't our server, but that she would take our drink order. She also told us that our server was new, and didn't understand how things worked. She then took our menus without taking our orders. We continued to wait, and our server then brought our drinks, but still didn't take our orders. This server apologized for the wait, but said she was the only one on the floor. This is a different story from the one we heard earlier. Now I don't believe anything I'm told. At this point, we asked to speak with the manager. The manager, who never introduced himself, seemed too busy to actually be interested in our concerns. He came over with a tray of dirty dishes, and very quickly said he would give us 50% off our meal and walked away. Our order was finally taken, but all in all, I cannot recommend this location

Stopped here on our way back to the Kawarthas. It was a hot night and chose to sit out on the patio. Good spot out there. We ordered drinks and they came in good time. Here’s my only complaint. And I seldom complain. So listen...up Lonestar. I ordered a blackberry margarita. I love margaritas. For what they charge for this drink, it’s not worth getting. First of all, the glass was not full. And very little alcohol in it. I was thirsty and drank it in less than 5 minutes. I felt ripped off. And I order lots of these in various restaurants. I ordered a bud light on tap after that just so I had a drink to wash down the fajitas. Anyway. The buffalo chicken fajitas for two is our favourite and it did not disappoint. Their shells are the best no matter which location. Great meal. Great service. Excellent atmosphere. Drinks too small. I’ll be back.

I was so excited to come here and was so disappointed. We came with a party of 14.... Waitress Georgia was great, but food was not worth the price. Chicken fingers were burned and edible. When I asked the waitress if this is normal for her, she just said sadly that the frit has to be changed. I heard she went back to the kitchen when we sat close and said, "I hear everything is cold and burned" That's where I feel a manager should come, but I didn't see all night. All nuggets were untouched, Fajitas were not worth the crazy price they are now no matter how good the cakes are left paying hundreds of dollars and felt demolished: chips and queso were great and service was also! But would have been nice to see a manger check on us, with how bad the food knew the complaints that were made
