Breakfast never disappoints! If you like spicy food, ask for the Chilaquiles extra sharp. Yum!
I loved it!! The service a little slow but, did not inhibit the experience and great food. I had the chivi Birria and hand made tortillas... Delicious and did not disappoint...I highly recommend it!
Yum! Finally AUTHENTIC BIRRIA Jalisquense! Many people do not know that, but the Birrie comes from Jalisco, where my family is from La Barca to be exact (like the owners of this restaurant. And considering how popular it is in L.A., sad it is hard to find good and authentic Birria, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this Jem by chance!... or fate? Lol idk but this place serves a pretty good birria taco (soft tortilla . The salsas that accompany the birrie are almost as good as my grandmothers (a hard to reach as my grandmother comes from a long series of chefs / chefs). The waitresses were very attentive and fast to fulfill my wishes. The manager passed and greeted me in Spanish, how beautiful! Hospitality would get a 20 if I had the option. I also tried her Café de la ollá, which was delicious, but something too sweet for my taste, otherwise delicious. Then I ordered Combo #1 prepared with a Chile Relleno, an enchilada, a flaute (better known as Taquitos in L.A., perfectly seasoned rice and unique (but delicious fried beans). When someone who grew up in La Barca, Jalisco, and who knows her about a Mexican kitchen. This restaurant is pretty good and makes the region fair. I'll be back! And this time with friends and family. Gracias!
The Birria is incredible and the staff is very friendly. Good prices and plenty of space to park and dine.
