Jake's Good Times Place - Pierre

It's been over a decade since I've been here and great as always. If you are looking for great bar food and the perfect sports bar atmosphere, you've found the spot. Kesley was our server and you could tell she was busy running multiple tables and she was spot on for timing with drinks and food. Keep it up Jake's Place

I truly adore this restaurant, and their food is exceptional.

Once we were seated, our waitress promptly took our drink order, and when she returned, we placed our food order, including one appetizer. After about 45 minutes, our food finally arrived, which consisted of two patty melts and the appetizer (cheese balls). Unfortunately, my order was incorrect, and I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for a remake, so I decided to just send it back and eat the appetizer instead. Throughout that entire 45-minute wait, the waitress never acknowledged us or inquired about drink refills. When the food was served, I struggled to get her attention to address the mistake, so I had to signal another waitress for help. When I spoke to the manager, they could only explain that they were really busy and attempted to justify the $12.50 price of the cheese balls by blaming the vendors. Overall, this was the worst experience I have ever had at this restaurant.

Sioux Falls August Leader has rated these as the best wings in South Dakota, and I have to say, they were spot on.

Seating is self-service, and the waitress was incredibly kind and attentive! The chicken wings were excellent; I ordered them extra crispy, and the Buffalo Garlic sauce was delicious! You can't go wrong with the homemade fries either! I will definitely be coming back!
