The dame up, lori, dosen 't no how budd,s works. it is a call and resturant not pick up an almost food 'drive thru '. if that doesn't work for them, go in and order and eat. a thin in, easy to eat.

I recently traveled from Baton Rouge to Morgan City with my two young children. After passing through the town of Gonzales, they both woke up from a nap, STARVING. I thought for certain, I'd pass someplace with drive thru service and halfway nutritious, decent food. After traveling 20-25 miles on rural highways with no place to stop, I was delighted to find Buddy's Drive In on Hwy. 70 in Pierre Part.

A welcoming site to the area! ... the roast beef is MOUTHWATERING good! ...and the banana splits are a close 2nd ! ...Staff is friendly and wait 'area ' is clean... looking forward to rumors being confirmed about the 'wait time ' being shortened.

The bratbeef Po'Boy is absolutely delicious—make sure to order it dressed to fully enjoy it! And if you still have room, definitely try the banana gaps for dessert.

This restaurant takes me back to the classic diners of the 1950s that I used to visit as a child. It's wonderful to see a place like this still around today. The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. They even provide a banana as a treat before you leave!
