Very generic hotel breakfast food. Overpriced for what it is. Service is not good. Waited for several minutes before any greeting by waitress and drink order taken. Then waited nearly half the time we were eating our breakfast to get our drinks. The breakfast buffet was out of different items. For instance the biscuits ran out. Waited another five to ten min for them to put out only three more biscuits. Then they never put any more out after that. The kids items were out and no replenishment at all while we were there. The whole dining experience here was a huge disappointment.
All of the hot food was very good. Grits, bacon, sausage, frittata, scrambled eggs, hash, hashbrowns, made to order omelet, biscuits and gravy, etc all were tasty and worth the cost. Down side: only 2 kinds of fruit, pineapple and melon, and the melon was crunchy. The pastries were nothing spectacular. They all seemed a little dry. Our reservations were at 10 and the scones were gone by the time we got there and not replenished. Crullers were also mostly gone and not replenished. Butter, cream cheese containers empty, had to track someone down and ask them to refill. Overall very good experience and would definitely return.
The Sunday brunch at the Song and Hearth is wonderful. They have a large selection of different foods to choose from and everything is delicious. We especially liked the omelette station. The service is top notch and the restaurant is decorated beautifully. Everyone we encountered was pleasant, helpful and eager to please. We eat here every time we visit Dollywood and highly recommend it.
Breakfast food (potatoes funnel cake waffles) on kid's table had been setting too long. They weretoo hard to eat. Other food was delicious!
