I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich, specifying that I didn’t want it toasted, and I was given a completely cold sandwich. The meat wasn’t warmed at all, and I was told that this was because I didn't want it toasted. So, I guess I have to have hard bread to get warm meat? I’ve never encountered a Subway where the meat wasn’t warmed just because I wanted my sandwich un-toasted. I can understand why this place has a 3.9 rating. If I hadn't been on my way home and needed gas and a quick bite to eat, I wouldn't have chosen Subway. I haven't eaten at a Subway in over a year because they seem to be getting worse, and this one was no exception — poor service and low-quality food, despite all the signs claiming "new this" and "new that"… which is simply not true.
I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. The staff lady completely messed up both of my sandwiches and barely added any vegetables, despite my request for extra. Instead of honey mustard, she slathered regular mustard on my sandwich. It shouldn't be that difficult to read an order! When I called to express my frustration, the employee, Remy (or however her name is spelled), was really rude. I told her that she ruined my sandwich, and when I asked for a replacement, she simply said to come back tomorrow and then hung up on me without taking my name or order details. When I tried to call back to find out how they would know to remake my sandwich, she just tossed the phone down and went back to her other tasks. It felt like she didn't care at all about her job or the customers.
Awful experience. I understand that it's a tourist hotspot, but they've implemented a system that prevents you from customizing your meal with vegetables as you go. Instead, you have to use a card with pre-made options. It's just terrible. The management has really dropped the ball on this one. Who's in charge here? They've completely changed the way we know Subway. This card system only undermines quality and customer service. Additionally, the employee who insisted that I use the card for my order allowed an entire family to order the usual way, which feels unfair and discriminatory.
The staff here are terrible. The older lady was incredibly rude to the other employees that made our sandwiches. The two girls did okay making the sandwiches, they seemed like they were still new but didn't deserve to be screamed at like they were.
Clean, inviting, servers very friendly but a bit slow. Decor was appealing and had a nice calming effect. Sandwich was fresh and neatly prepared.
