I repeated because of the lack of places to eat in pigeon. Tastes like everything is out of a can and islacking seasoning. This time I got a burrito and a chicken taco. Both tasted cold and just weren?t very good. Only Mexicanrestaurant I?ve visited where chips and salsa are not brought to your table. Instead you can pay $5 and get canned salsa. Myservice this last time was very slow. It took 30 minutes to get my food while on my lunch break. This was my last trip to ElRio. My advice would be to go to Taco Bell, the food is actually better there.
Glad it opened back up. Menu change a definite improvement.
Amazing place food is always on point and service is amazing
I have to be honest, I have been to this restaurant several times and tried a variety of dishes, but none of them were very good. My experiences were quite disappointing overall. I reluctantly chose to eat here again due to limited dining options in the area. The food tastes bland and seems like everything comes from a can with no seasoning. On my most recent visit, I ordered a burrito and chicken taco, both of which were cold and not very appetizing. Surprisingly, this is the only Mexican restaurant I've been to where they don't bring out complimentary chips and salsa; instead, you have to pay $5 for canned salsa. The service was also very slow during my last visit, taking 30 minutes to receive my food while I was on my lunch break. Needless to say, this will be my last time dining at El Rio. I would recommend going to Taco Bell instead, as the food is actually better there.
The burrito I had at this restaurant was not very good. It did not taste like authentic Mexican food.
