When I requested some sugar, the server informed me that I would need to get it myself at the register, as she was too busy to help. I only needed sugar, not a new drink. There was a line at the register, and I didn't want to interrupt anyone ordering. As a result, I had to wait for another customer to finish before I could grab the sugar. I don't mind waiting, but it would have been much nicer if the server had said, "Let me finish this order, and I’ll be right with you."
I ordered a hot mocha, but what I received was mainly hot water with just a hint of vanilla—there was barely any flavor. I ended up pouring it out. I won't be returning to this location.
Grant manages this restaurant superbly! They still offer blackberries on the menu, so if you're a fan, be sure to ask Grant for his suggestions!
I visited on double rewards day and was uncertain whether the promotion would be honored at the Starbucks located inside a Target. Fortunately, it was, which made me quite happy! I tried the golden ginger drink; it was decent, but the ice melted too quickly, diluting the flavor. Unfortunately, this location didn't have the Impossible (or Beyond?) breakfast sandwich in stock, even though there was a sign advertising it, so I have to deduct a star for that. Additionally, the service was very slow. I understand that this is a smaller location, but Starbucks is typically busy, and they really need more than one barista working at a time.
The cashiers and barista were very friendly and incredibly helpful. While they had run out of whipped cream, the drinks were nonetheless delicious. I will definitely come back!
