I was the strange man and got a cheeseburger (in a fishfield) after the owner (probably) said that the burgers were really good and she was not a joke. The burger was made as GOOD burgers are done. Beautiful piece of fresh beef, a plate of genuine Cheddar cheese, all vegetables on a roasted bungalow. My wife said that her catfish and shrimp were very delicate and tasteful. We have both riders with our orders, and they were the beautiful thick plates that you rarely get anywhere. Yum. The whole restaurant was impeccable and beautifully decorated. This place could be used as educational experience for all budding restorers, for how things are done...did I mentioned it was immaculate and well organized? This will be a goal for us from now on. We are happy to find a good place for every variety of food in our new area, we now have a fish and burger place. Look at her, you'll thank me.
I have the 1/2 order of the catfish basket. You got it pretty fast and hot. Fish strips were about 8 inches long. Very good food. Good price. Fast service.
Good food perfect quality and quantity. We chose grilled salmon, catfish and shrimp. I think it's family business. Homely environment and rustic look makes it nostalgic. It must visit place when you are in Pilot Point.
My wife and I stopped in for a catfish basket. We enjoyed the food, and the friendly service! The corn fritters were tasty too! The owner/manager greeted another couple by welcoming them back, and confirmed where they last sat in the restaurant and remembered they were in the real estate business. It is good to have great choices in the Aubrey/Pilot Point/Celina triangle.
Absolutely amazing food and incredibly friendly service! We were welcomed with smiles as soon as we walked in. Eager to explore new options, we searched for a top-notch seafood restaurant, and we definitely struck gold! As a San Francisco fan who's always on the lookout for great seafood, I was thrilled to finally discover this gem. Everything we tried was mouthwatering. My husband and I both ordered the seafood platter, while my son sampled seafood for the very first time. We all enjoyed every bite! We also had the shrimp gumbo and the cancer fish Julie, both of which were fantastic (it was my first experience with cancer fish, and it turned out to be my favorite). Thank you for a delightful birthday dinner! We will definitely be returning!
